Winter Anime Season 2015-2016 Picks

anime season winter 2015 - 2016 copy

The winter season approaches, and it’s time for me to do my civic duty as a citizen of this planet. Here are my picks for shows you should check out.
As usual like previous seasons, I make these choices based on which premises look interesting and unique( because uniqueness kicks as). Let’s get this started!

sushi police

Sushi Police
The Japanese government forms an international inspection force to make sure sushi restaurants serve sushi to a certain standard. As if that premise wasn’t enough to entire you in, the animation is done in very stylized cg. Because why not?

sekkou boys

Sekkou Boys
An idol group made up of……well, idols. Like actual sentient renaissance style statues. Yes, you can make an anime out of literally anything. I look forward to what hilarity ensues.

ajin

Ajin
Human beings that cannot die, known as Ajin, are discovered, and the Japanese government sets a hefty reward for anybody can capture and bring one in.A young boy finds out he is an ajin, and hell breaks loose. Not only sounds like an interesting story, but the show uses cg with cell shading in its animation style.

Boku dake ga inai machi

Boku dake ga inai machi
A young manga artist finds that he has the ability to prevent deaths and tragedies by traveling back in time. He finds himself one day being transported years ago before a classmate disappeared. Unfolding mysteries that involve unexplained powers are always worth a look.

Returning for more!

assassination classroom - season 2

Assassination Classroom
The killer students and their yellow, tentacle teacher are back for more hijinks. Let’s see if the alumni successfully assassinate Koro-sensei this time around.

gate season 2

Gate: Thus the JSDF Fought There! Fire Dragon Arc
Japan’s Self Defense Force continue their excursion beyond the GATE as they match wits even further , unforeseen danger.

So there are the picks. Makes sure to at least give each show a two or three episode try. Happy viewing.
