Hailing from Melbourne come Espionage. Up and coming speed metal/power metal hybrid Espionage made their live debut at 2014’s Legions Of Steel festival and band have achieved a cult like following. With soaring vocals, twin guitar harmonies and shredding solos the band have been able to forge all that was great about 80s metal into one stream lined sound.

After months of demoing the band have finally released their selftitled debut 4 track EP. Featuring 4 massive face melting songs, one intro track and 3 full songs, the band really set the stage for big things.

Thanks to front man Andrew ‘Frosty’ Morris’ amazing NWHOBM inspired vocal range and lead guitarist Denis Sudzuka’s unparalleled technical skill this EP is a thing of beauty. And considering it was all recorded by themselves in Denis’ bedroom sonically its huge for such a DIY project

Tracks like ‘Dead of the Night’ and ‘Fight For Your Life’ are huge sprawling epics of pure 80s metal but without any of the cheese you’ve come to expect. Just straight forward epic heavy metal that wears its influences on its sleeve.

This EP is only 4 songs but shows the band have a gigantic future ahead of them as it’s still early days. They are still brand new and just starting out with so much potential. With the rumour of multiple upcoming EP releases these guys are just going to go from strength to strength

For fans of everything from classic 80’s NWOBHM through to the speed metal of Annihilator and Megadeth
