I’m pretty sure no one on this earth loves thrash metal as much as South Americans do. They are able to in some cases be the life blood of a lot of bands, the likes of Hirax and Vector has been able to do really well for themselves by constantly touring South America. The fans are rabid for thrash metal and cant seem to get enough. So with that in mind it makes perfect sense that the newly rejuvenated Anthrax would want to film their next DVD there

Fresh on the heels the their most recent album “Worship Music” with Joey Belladonna back on vocals the band are currently hotter right now than they have been for years. From the moment the band hit the stage and tear into “Among the living” and the crowd lose their collective minds. The pit explodes, so many people start crowd surfing and circling and they never relent for the whole show.

The band is on point as they play and excellent blend of all time classics like “Caught In A Mosh” and “I Am The Law” mixed in with a few tracks from “Worship Music” and a from the recent “Anthems” E.P. The AC/DC classic “TNT”.

Probably the of the highlights for me are the inclusion of the tracks “A Skeleton In The Closet” and “I’m The Man” which are two songs that don’t get played often and they did play either of those tracks when I saw them on the same tour.

The band are proving that they still have so much to often since the full time return of Joey and are really as good now as they have ever been. This is a band that a few years ago a lot of people had written off but they really seem to have new lease on life and totally have a long career a head of them. Especially if crowds keep giving them receptions like this,

All fans of the Big Four should own this DVD. Such an amazing energetic show from both the band and the crowd themselves.

“Chile On Hell” is available now.
