Well human creatures, the area of northern California area is quite a hotbed for all things geek(especially anime). So of course outdoor picnics and such are held with the theme of cosplay. I on occasion visit these small get togethers . Specifically the The Norcal Spring Cosplay Gathering. But what tipped the scales on me deciding to go is the fact that I found out the cosplayer Elderberry was gonna be there (after nagging her online with that question).
Based out of the NYC/NJ area, Elderberry is a cosplayer, model, singer and all around cool person. She had a following on both youtube and the japanese video site Nico Nico Douga.
A model in her day job, but at times attracts (non-cosplay) photographers who want to shoot cosplay pics rather than fashion. Elderberry is also a dedicated worker in the many things she does, and a very friendly person. She even went above and beyond in offering her help to put parts of this interview together after it was filmed.
