In the long and storied history of the F.A.N. forum there have been threads that have taken a life of their own just because of how strange, outlandish and hilarious they are. Among them is the Buhby: He duminade? thread started by Kneelift on August 2, 2007.
The first post made set the tone for a humorous thread which murdered the English language after Kneelift posted the following:
“So champion uncrowned is buhbeh lashley.
DO HIM LOSE A CHAMPIONSHIP? Or is it too much to have too much dominate? Can he make hardcore givings to RAW Brand? ECW Original Bobby Lashley is 24 Years Old Has Been Champion For Twenty For Years.
HOW IS HE SO BIG A POWERSLAM!?
BUBBY? YOU HEAR ME? DO A MOVE! DO A THING!
I seen him make a SPEAR on MAGUA!
Nobodies can DO DOMINATRIX WHIPS AND CHAINS brock lesnar! Former Marine make DOMINATE ENEMIES OF FREEDOM WITH SO A BIG SUCH A MAKE POWERSLAM!
BUHBEH LESHLAY! DAWMANAIT!”
While it is easy to understand what is being said in the post the context of it without some background information. Back in August of 2007 the WWE was in the midst of positioning Bobby Lashley as the next big face of the company. His first real push towards stardom began in WWECW (which I really miss) when he defeated The Big Show at December to Dismember, quite possibly the worst wrestling pay per view in the history of anything not named Legends of Wrestling, to become the ECW Champion on December 3, 2006. He held the title until Vince McMahon defeated him for the title on April 29, 2007.
The previous month Bobby took on Umaga in one of the many high profile matches at Wrestlemania 23.
Lashley regained the championship at One Night Stand, however he was stripped of it on June 11 of that year after being drafted to Monday Night Raw. Shortly thereafter he was thrust into the WWE Championship picture despite having not quite mastered the art of talking into a microphone without sounding like a child and slurring his words.
