In the long and storied history of the F.A.N. forum there have been threads that have taken a life of their own just because of how strange, outlandish and hilarious they are. Among them is the Which does Hank Hill love more thread, which was started by Room Temperature on December 27, 2007.
Hank Hill,
is a character from the animated television series King of the Hill,
which was on the air from 1997 to 2010. The show revolved around the Hill family who live in Arlen, Texas. On the show Hank has a job selling propane and propane accessories at Strickland Propane. He is married to Peggy Hill, who is on the right in the picture below.
During the shows run Peggy had a number of jobs including that of a newspaper columnist, real estate agent, and a notary public. However, she is best known for being a substitute Spanish teacher despite not having a full grasp of the language. Additionally, she is known for her Boggle skills and being annoying.
When Room Temperature created the thread, with a poll to accompany it, asking members of the F.A.N. forum which did Hank love more his wife or propane the results indicate that Hank loved propane more then his wife. However, even once the results of the poll were decisively one sided people created a list of things in Hank’s life that take a back seat to propane. Additionally, lists were created by members of the forum which indicated a number of things that have a higher priority in the like of Hank other then his wife.
