*Insert the “ROFL” emoji here* Based on a best-selling comic, but what looks like it was nabbed straight from a video game, comes the indie film, Gintama. Where do I begin? It just looks like a lot of fun, especially since it’s obvious they don’t take themselves too seriously, which is a nice change.
There’s a person in what appears to be a giant duck costume and a ship and pirates and sword fights?! WHUT. We don’t know yet, but the graphics look amazing, it’s Japanese, and that hair! There’s also a miniseries, apparently, and how do I get my hands on this terrible, yet hilariously awesome anime-on-steroids?! Can someone please tell me what’s going on? Whatever happens, we’re stoked.
