Synopsis: Three friends are on the verge of getting their video game financed when their benefactor is taken hostage by terrorists.
The stupidly-funny bro-combo from Comedy Central’s Workaholics is teaming up again for a new Netflix original comedy called Game Over, Man! One would hope that Bill Paxton would be proud that the infamous stoner besties used his iconic line from Aliens as the title in this upcoming Netflix movie. Ders, Blake, and Alexxx will save everyone (or get them all killed) when the hotel they work at is taken over. Oh my God, and the hostage is Shaggy, himself.
The trailer looks a little bit like the action/comedy style of Die Hard, except if Bruce Willis didn’t show up for filming one day and the understudies just happened to be holding a prop at the right time, but they’re all competing for the spotlight. And, let’s face it: Director Kyle Newacheck (also known for his work on Community) is a friggin’ genius when it comes to making us laugh. We’re so down for this one.
