Tolkienites, Ringers get ready because there’s news that a J.R.R. Tolkien movie is in the works! Not much has been announced yet about “Tolkien”, but it supposedly follows his early life after the Great WWI and beginning the epic we now know as The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings.
Nicholas Hoult will star as a young Tolkien and Lily Collins is set to be joining the cast list as well. The director (Dome Karukoski) is credited in the foreign film genre, so this will essentially be his debut U.S. mainstream film.
For those of us who have wanted a peek at the life of one of the greatest contributors to fantasy fiction of all time, this movie will be a fresh and interesting story worth seeing.
