Netflix just released a trailer for Wet Hot American Summer: 10 Years Later & it tastes like a burger.

It’s the 10 Year Reunion at Camp Firewood for the much-older campers, starring all the original cast with some new faces thrown into the mix. If you weren’t into the first series that premiered on Netflix six years ago, you probably should give it another shot so you can fully appreciate this one. Or, you should give up and come to terms with the fact that you have no sense of humor.

The Reunion is set in the 90’s this time, but the older members appear to be struggling with adapting to the new generation, hairdos, clothes, and, well, growing up. Resist the urge to ask questions though, otherwise, it’ll spoil the experience. Just accept the hilarious clumsy comedy for what it is and dive right in.

Don’t think.

WHAS is weird and exaggerated. It’s, quite literally, campy and its nostalgic theme is what makes it so ironically funny and easily relatable. What goes down at the camp is so bizarre that you know real-life doesn’t work out the way it does, and yet, the wild characters causing all this mess are what you love and wish life was like. That’s what makes it such a fun series.

Plus, seeing Paul Rudd as a grungy rocker with long hair should be every reason enough to watch.

You can binge it on Netflix in your bathing suit and floaties in August.
