In the long and storied history of the F.A.N. forum there have been threads that have taken a life of their own just because of how strange, outlandish and hilarious they are. Among them are the My Landlord Just Got Future Endeavored thread started by THE Baldy Kendrick on January 10, 2010.
On that day THE Baldy Kendrick posted the following on the F.A.N. forum. “So the other day, I got a note under my door. “Effective immediately [name redacted] is no longer the property manager for [name redacted]. [name redacted] will be vacating the property.
We wish him well in his future endeavors.”
Has this phrase become the go-to “we fired them” phrase or what?”
What makes this funny, besides the absurdity of the events described actually taking place, is that the phrase “We wish him well in his future endeavors” is usually what is posted on WWE.com when a talent gets released.
Many posters made this observation and used many wrestling related jokes and situations and used the landlord in place of real wrestlers. The thread took a life of its own completely and totally unrelated to the original post.
