In the long and storied history of the F.A.N. forum there have been threads that have taken a life of their own just because of how strange, outlandish and hilarious they are. Among them is the Bubba The Love Sponge Fired!!! thread started by That Ric Guy on April 30, 2010.
This thread started because Bubba The Love Sponge was brought into TNA as part of Hulk Hogan’s ass kissing crew which included the Nasty Boys among others when he signed to join the company. Later he was fired by TNA Wrestling. However, before Bubba was canned this asshole claimed that he physically assaulted by Awesome Kong, known better as Kharma these days, while backstage for television tapings and complained to Hogan and got her fired after Kharma told him to take back the comments. Fans were outraged and were wondering how this could happen and when could Bubba get what was coming to him.
In one of his last television appearances for TNA Bubba took a punch from Mick Foley
and resulted in a black eye among other injuries.
Considering how long Mick has been in the business it stands to reasons that he intentionally potatoed Bubba.
