The Worst Movies the F.A.N.s Have Ever Seen Part 1

Every so often a thread at the Freakin Awesome Network forum gets several replies to it. Often times this is because the discussion revolves around something that many have experienced in their lives. Recently a thread of this type was made asking people to name the worst movie they have ever seen.

Below are posters for the movies named along with a brief  description of a few of them.

The Beast of Yucca Flats uses lots of narration, which makes little to no sense and is often repetitive, to advance the plot. The plot of this movie consists of Joseph Javorsky (Tor Johnson) killing people and individuals trying to stop him. The only times the characters speak in this movie is when they are either off-screen, in shadows or in a distance. It is also worth noting that during the course of The Beast of Yucca Flats several people are killed after being shot only to reappear later on in the film and appear unharmed in any way, shape or form.

Enough stars Jennifer Lopez who as a woman on the run from her abusive husband.

Snakes on a Train, from The Asylum, is a mockbuster film heavily inspired by Snakes on a Plane.

North contains unfunny jokes, lots of ethnic stereotyping, and a illogical plot which consists of North (Elijah Wood) to becoming a free agent so to speak from his parents and follows him on a quest to find new ones.

The Happening follows a man (Mark Wahlberg), his wife (Zooey Deschannel), his best friend (John Leguizamo) and his best friend’s daughter as they try to escape from a natural disaster which is causing people to kill themselves.

A Serbian Film is one of most revolting movies ever made and is an exercise of pseudo-intellectualism on the part of the writer and director of this piece of trash who claim it is a political film when in reality A Serbian Film is an exercise is depravity.

The movie poster above is for The Abyss.

I bought Alone in the Dark for 99 cents. Many have said I paid too much for it. Alone in the Dark is very loosely based on the video game of the same name. According to this movie just because someone get shot in the heart does not mean he or she will die. There are other things about this movie that mean no sense, such as the laws of gravity ceasing to exist, but for the most part Alone in the Dark is very forgettable.

Doom, starring The Rock, is very loosely based on the computer game series of the same name. Instead dealing with an invasion from hell, as was the plot from the source material, this movie deals with a virus outbreak.

Mac and Me is a shameless ripoff of E.T.  The only purpose of Mac and Me was to see how many product plugs; including McDonalds, Sears, Coke and Skittles, could be put into a single movie.

The movie poster above is for the 2009 film Dogtooth.

And that concludes of The Worst Movies the F.A.N.s Have Ever Seen part 1. Next week  The Worst Movies the F.A.N.s Have Ever Seen  part 2 will be revealed.
